Laurent Hedquist respects the careful and considered implementation of craft on every project type, from planning to design.
Laurent has more than 10 years of experience working on a range of projects at KieranTimberlake, including the development of SmartWrap™, a mass-customizable building skin; renovations to Silliman College, Yale University's largest undergraduate residential college; and Dilworth Park, a new 4-acre park and transit hub at Philadelphia's City Hall.
Laurent excels at synthesizing the perspectives and expectations of large client groups to deliver cohesive, deliberate, and informative planning documents. He has conducted planning studies for the University of Chicago, a feasibility study for the School of Information and Library Science at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, and was Project Architect for a master plan for Futuris, a new university campus in Morocco.
He is currently on the design team for the Embassy of the United States in London, where he is managing complex requirements and consultant relationships related to the secure areas. He is also working on an integrated planning study for Rice University and overseeing the renovation of KieranTimberlake's new studio in the former Ortlieb's Bottling House.
Laurent has been a visiting critic for academic juries at Penn State, Drexel University, and Philadelphia University.
