Jason E. Smith, AIA

Senior Associate 

Jason Smith received both his Bachelors in Architecture, and his Bachelor of Science in Architecture, with distinction, from the Pennsylvania State University. Jason has been with the firm since 1996, was named an associate in 2005, and was recently made Senior Associate of the firm. He has over 12 years experience, is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a LEED accredited professional.

Jason was previously Project Manager for Atwater Commons at Middlebury College, the Bennett Family Center at Pennsylvania State University, and the Lower School Science Laboratories at Wilmington Friends School. Jason served as Associate-in-Charge of the Student Residential Initiative at Johns Hopkins University, The Car Shops at the B&O Railroad Museum, Stanford University's Learning and Knowledge Center competition, study in off-site fabrication for a major Midwestern financial institution, and the Multi Faith Center and Houghton Memorial Chapel at Wellesley College.

He is currently Associate-in-Charge for the new Physics Building at Rice University, a multi-family development for LivingHomes®, and is responsible for the firm's comprehensive research initiatives, which focus on building performance, off-site fabrication, and advanced materials.
