Chris Macneal received his Bachelor's degree from Harvard University, with honors, and
his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania. Chris has been with the
firm since 1986, was named associate in 1999, and was recently made Senior Associat of the firm. He is a registered architect in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and is a LEED accredited professional.
Chris is responsible for coordinating the research initiatives within KieranTimberlake and provides technical review of projects in design throughout the office. He recently led the development and implementation of KieranTimberlake's Management System (KTMS) which was
certified in compliance with ISO 9001:2000 in February 2006.
His interests include the study of vernacular architecture, performance and pathology
of construction assemblies, and strategies for sustainable building design.
